Nikole Lim is a filmmaker, photographer, and the founder and director of Freely in Hope- www.freelyinhope.org. Nikole will be with us for a two-part event:
from 7:15-8:45, she will engage art students (and any other interested participants) in a discussion about the role of arts in social justice work. This will be a more specific time of closer interaction. (Caf Banquet Room)
Then, from 9-10pm, we will screen Nikole’s film “While Women Weep” (www.whilewomenweep.com) and follow it with a time of discussion / Q & A about her work, both with her non-profit organization and as a photo/video storyteller around the world.

Visual Seminar-Wedding Workshop with Mike Colon-Spring Semester 2011

This course will meet periodically on Friday mornings from 10:00 – 10:50 a.m. and then on particular dates noted below. The course will incorporate two workshop sessions onwedding photojournalism and post-production as it relates more particularly to fashion and entertainment.

The Point Magazine is coming along, copy is done, photography is mostly done, and design is coming along swimmingly.
